Jim Dine

Jim Dine is an American painter, sculptorprint maker, illustrator. Still life and clothing consecutively appeared in Dine's work in the 1960s. In 1962, Dine's work was featured alongside artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol in 'New Paintings of Common Objects' this exhibition is considered to be the birth of 'Pop-Art'. Along with other artists, Dine and his work shocked the art world and America itself. Some of his most successful work includes 'Blue Clamp' and 'Five Feet of Colourful Tools'.
